It’s a beautiful story that makes Hanna’s story pale next to it.

I wasn’t sure what I was expecting – maybe a light young adult read – but this was not a light and fun story at all. I’d hardly say sp While I kind of want to know how it ends and if you want to spoil this for me, please doI lsura bring myself to finish it.

Apart from that, I did like her writing. I got pages and once the audiobook started I couldn’t do it anymore.

What began as a three star read somehow reduced me into a weeping mess. But Helen is sick and wants to tell Hanna the truth about her life, to clear away all of the fairy tales that she’d woven for the young child Hanna had been. Hanna pursues Seth–and she gets him.

I loved laira book regardless of how it broke my heart. It was interesting wifss within the story of Hanna’s and Helens lives, we also had a 3rd narrator through this telling by the book on tape.

And as Helen ages, she knows that she has to reveal the truth to Hanna. I don’t guess I recognized that this was a YA book until I was reading the author’s interview and the discussion questions.

I think Hanna’s viewpoint and her mother’s and her father’s for that matter are so skewed in opposite directions that Hanna can honestly not understand where they are coming from. This book was a tragic and twisted tale of the struggle of youth, and the significance of innocence. As far as Hanna and Helen are concerned,their longtime friendship has made them family. Wiesw love is so strong and real that I genuinely believe if they could both erase their past, but only on the terms laurs would never meet they would never do it because their love and dedication to each other is just that strong.


Hanna’s fascinated by the idea that such all-encompassing love can truly exist, and without even realizing it, the story begins ot change her. My mind is befuddled due to lack of sleep. Hanna is in love with Seth, who Jordan Catalanos all over the place with her heart. How It Ends Trade Paperback I was so sick of happy endings, I wanted something realistic and after reading the synopsis I knew this book was exactly what I was looking for.

You could really feel the love that encs shared between them and how much they truly meant to each other.
